The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has issued an invitation to provide feedback on the ABS Clearing-House. Users of the ABS Clearing-House are invited to complete the questionnaire and to share their experiences with the platform and other feedback. The questionnaire, which takes approximately ten to twenty minutes to complete, is open until 31 December 2025 and can be accessed via the following link: ABS Clearing-House Questionnaire.

The feedback collected through the questionnaire will contribute to the second assessment and review process of the Nagoya Protocol. This process also consists of other elements. So, it is intended that each Party to the CBD, including the Netherlands, will submit a report on the national implementation of the Nagoya Protocol in late 2025 / early 2026.

If you have any questions while filling out the questionnaire or wish to share more general feedback about the ABS Clearing-House, you may contact Ms. Kim van Seeters (ABS Competent National Authority; k.vanseeters@minlnv.nl), and/or Martin Brink and Bob Kreiken (National ABS Focal Point; martin.brink@wur.nl, bob.kreiken@wur.nl).
