Soil health risks caused by interactions of microplastics and pesticides

The study investigated the combined effects of microplastics and pesticides in soil, including the adsorption-desorption behaviours of microplastics, their combined toxicity on earthworm Lumbricus terrestris, biogenic transport in earthworm burrows, pesticide dissipation, and bioaccumulation of pesticides by radish when soil was contaminated with both aged and pristine microplastics.
